Amid smiles and well wishes, the couple made their way to the high terrace for photos and the romantic first dance in the veranda room. The high arched doorways opened up to a stunning scene as the sun sank below the mountains on the opposite side of the lake. As speeches were made, our Lake Como wedding planner made sure that everything was arranged just as the couple wanted.

 The rustic elegance theme used plenty of natural wood, sparkling glass, and white floral accents in everything from the table decorations to the serving dishes on the long hors d'oeuvre table. Gentlemen had the option to enjoy high-quality cigars while the music played, and guests mingled. A sit-down dinner rounded out the culinary extravaganza of the evening, but that was just one part of the glorious celebration after the ceremony.

Every wonderful wedding tradition made Melanie and Daniel’s day one to remember forever. The speeches by father and sisters demonstrated the love shared by all. The mother-son and father-daughter dances set the stage for togetherness. DJ music invited all the guests to get up on their feet and join in.

Throughout the reception, guests enjoyed a never-ending flow of delicious appetizers and a variety of drinks. These included fruit mocktails, refreshing cocktails, spumante, beer, and soft drinks so everyone could find a favorite. The guests relaxed at tables decorated with elegant bouquets of white roses and yellow lilies, tiny sprigs of baby’s breath, and fresh lemons. The bright fruits are common symbols of longevity, friendship, and love in Italy.
